Ayana is the former Prime Minister of the Wangdaio Colonies. She disappeared in 3010 GSC during the civil war and was presumed KIA until she was discovered in a derelict vessel on Ehrenzeller by the crew of the Crimson Corsairs1) in 3018 GSC.

She was a young tatya hini merchant from Liang (Tai Pan) that was sent to Alarie to help establish Taianese settlements. She was well liked by the other colonists and was quickly selected to be the planetary governor of Alarie but was later relocated to Saint-Yves. She became romantically involved with Yue Ziyi and conceived a son, Edmund Morita. She was encouraged and propped up as the colonial leader of the Wangdaio Colonies when the Colonies declared independence from the Empire of Tai Pan and selected to be the Prime Minister.

Ayana in Roleplay

Ayana Morita is a setting non-player character written by Kim. She made her first in character appearance in Crimson Corsairs- 4.0: Fish in a Barrel but the day before her appearance was revealed in The Forgotten- Into the Fire. Her voice sounds something like Scathach-Skadi- soft spoken, mature, reserved. And her theme is Breaking Benjamin's "Ashes of Eden".

Ayana is frequently described as an attractive woman with pale skin, long slender ears and iridescent amethystine eyes with lilac hair. Her missing limbs were replaced with aesthetically pleasing cybernetics without a synthetic skin. Often seen wearing simple, sleek black dresses with a flower in her hair.

Very little is publicly known about Ayana or her private life beyond the knowledge that her lover was Yue Ziyi and her son is Edmund Morita. Most of Ayana's official records are incomplete and the existing files are fragmented.

Childhood

Orphaned as a result of the Wars of Liang, she was raised in the Liang (Tai Pan) gated cities where she learned how to be a farmer. She was later sent on to various farming colonies to practice her trade.

Colonies

In 3008 GSC, led a colonization expedition to systems on the fringes where her charisma quickly raised to a position of political power by her fellow colonists. Her work ethic and leadership caught the attention of the Destroyer Caste Yue Ziyi, sent to oversee the Colonies who groomed her to become a strong political leader and became romantically involved with her.

Captivity

Was declared missing in 3010 GSC when her home in Jardin de Lys, on La Fleur in Saint-Yves system was blown up.

True Identity

Ayana was born during the 4th War of Succession as Xiao Chen Natsumi and is the naturally born daughter of Chiharu Natsumi and the Emperor, Cixi Kuan Leong. Chiharu feared for Ayana's safety and concealed her pregnancy from everyone, including her paramour, Kuan Leong. She asked her friend, Bhelith, to hide her daughter and keep her safe from the Empress before she was killed in the middle of peace talks with the Tatya hini.

Bhelith called on the magic of the old Gods and transformed the young dragon caste into an tatya hinya with all of the memories of an elven life, becoming Adonnenniel Mórevíre. She was later forced to take a more Taianese name, becoming commonly known as Ayana Morita. She was shuffled around farming settlements before she ended up in what would become the Wangdaio Colonies as their leader.
