Ginger is the adopted daughter of Ember Connelly and the adopted granddaughter of Bhelith Arleigh. She is a non-player character written by Kim that first appeared in The Forgotten's Into the Fire.

- Distinguishing Characteristics: Whatever was done to alter Ginger's sight accelerated her physical growth, giving her the appearance of a mature buxom woman at the age of 10. By 3020 GSC, the Magisters discovered a way to slow the rate of cellular death to allow Ginger to not age further- prolonging her life. She still bears thin scars across the palms of both of her hands.

| Rosalee looked at Ginger. The woman tried to get a better look at the little girl and sighed. “You look like you had a time of it yourself. Your hands…” Ginger held them up, they were unbandaged and heavily scarred- angry, jagged red lines against pale skin. “Yes. I think the bad people had you too. Did they make you too?” “I don’t understand. What do you mean by ‘making me’?” Ginger idly swung her legs as they dangled at the edge of the bed. She considered what to say as she looked at her feet for a moment before she returned her gaze to Rosalee. “Well, I don’t have a mom or dad. I came out of a tube. Did you come out of a tube too?” |

G1-NG-3-R was “created” in a clandestine lab in 3008 GSC. She was tortured by the scientists as they spliced unknown genetic material into her body and permanently altered her eye sight over the course of their experiments. She was given the innate ability in see in all light spectrums at once, making her useful for detecting enemies using stealth technology or identifying thermal signatures.
During the Wangdaio Colonies' infamous blackout in 3015, she managed to slip from her handlers during a Xeno invasion and she started hearing a woman's voice, that identified itself as “Arce” which has kept Ginger company though she cannot see her. Shortly after hearing Arce for the first time, Ginger was rescued from the rooftop of a Heise testing facility on Nikaia in Romana system by Ember Connelly.
When Ember was “adopted” by Bhelith Blackspear in 3017 GSC, Ginger and Ami were sent to Piyapon with the Empress to learn the ways of the court. Ginger was designated more specifically, as Ember's representative to Bhelith's council due to her enhanced physical and mental maturity.
