Kǒnglóng Religion
The peoples of the Kǒnglóng are a mixed group. Some are quite religious and devote, others don't give much thought to a religious life. The primary religion on the worldships is Guòqù de fāngshì. Lùjìng jiānglái1) is the worship of their ancestors and the blue orb they left oh so long ago. It is also the hope for the future and where the people are going.
Worship is fairly simple, with a set book of liturgy. The book of common worship has been standardized across the board. Allowing people to move from planet to planet, worldship to worldship as still able to worship in a service that is familiar and consistent.
The belief of an afterlife is accepted through out the populaces. Sunny fields of plenty, warm suns, comfortable rocks to rest on. These are all lovely thoughts of what is awaiting, along with family from the past all ready to feed them and enjoy forever with them.
Temples
Every ship, if large enough, has at least two temples. One near the power core, the other along the exterior hull with a large window looking out into space. All temples are set up in the same basic layout. Two rows of pews that allow worshipers to sit and pray comfortably. At the fount of the temple is an alter with candles. Hull based temples have the exterior window behind the alter, the core located ones look into the power rooms.
The same basic layout is seen on planet based temples. Though the biggest difference is the sunrise facing window behind the alter.
