Wings of Heled

The Wings are a Porter's Guild that has been chartered out of the Duchy of Heled. It primarily handles post, shipping, and passenger transportation services. It also has a salvage, and a construction department, but primarily focuses on commercial transport in Kowloon.

The first wing, Li Wing, was a former Taianese citizen and a Rooster-cast private trader who lost their license under suspicious circumstance and decided to go to the frontier instead of giving up the profession. He was a scoundrel, a thief, a pirate, and a total knave who was missing one eye, but he just happened to be in the right place at the right time - that was, right in front of Duke Aniseth Whitemeadow.

Then only a Lord, the Duke was looking for men willing to found guilds to standardize the economy on the planet of Heled, and Li Wing was one of the first to sign on with the new system. He has the dubious honor of having written his own license, the first license out of Heled, and afterwards he authorized several more licenses before hiring a secretary who filtered the list.

The Wings were founded in Y3016 to provide a postal service for the Kowloon frontier zone.

During Kowloon's war with the Atraxians in Y3018, the Wings were temporarily mobilized to provide logistical support to Kowloon's fighting forces. They were recognized as an organization in Y3020, two years later, for the amount of support that they gave the Duchy of Heled, the founder, Li Ping, being raised to nobility. At present time, they are the state's primary logistics support company, and boast powerful military connections and contracts with several surrounding countries.

Notably, they operate in the Alliance, Kowloon, and occassionally trade with Tai Pen.
