Established in 3008 GSC, the Wangdaio Shouwei Forces 1st Fleet was stationed out of Kowloon System and led by Fleet Admiral Mark Roberts from the WCS Lyanna. The Shouwei assigned to the 1st were considered overly formal and highly idealistic by their sister fleets. The 1st equated their role as guardians to being the knights of Ayana Morita, and pledged their lives to carry out the Prime Minister’s ideals. Fleet Officers were chosen for their sharp appearance, noble bearing, and almost fanatical devotion to Ayana despite the fact that Kowloon was not the seat of the Wangdaio Colonies’s political power. The 1st Fleet was highly romanticized in Wangdaio media programs and literature, being well known for unit integration with the ground forces. It is widely publicized that the 1st Fleet and 1st Infantry donned snow white Tianshi hardsuits on top of large genetically enhanced chargers when planetside rather than using tanks or trucks.

As a result of being stationed in close proximity to The Interstellar Alliance’s and the Empire of Tai Pan’s borders, the Wangdaio Shouwei Forces 1st Fleet suffered fewer casualties during the fall of the Wangdaio Colonies in 3010 GSC as a result of the Xeno invasion and Heise insurgency than her sister fleets. Where other fleets saw their vessels decimated and their crews massacred, the 1st fleet only lost a third of its ships with most of its surviving ships damaged but not entirely crippled.

When the Empire of Tai Pan allowed Bhelith Arleigh to establish Solarity of Kowloon in 3016 GSC, they also gifted her the surviving ships from the Wangdaio Shouwei Forces to form the basis of her self-defense fleet with the 1st and 2nd Fleet ships forming a large portion of the fleet. All ships that survived the fall were in dire need for maintenance and vessels that were heavily damaged were cannibalized to repair other ships due to the loss of the Shouwei shipyards.

The current status of the 1st Fleet ships are 12 operational, 8 cannibalized for parts, and 10 destroyed. These ships were redistributed to the Solarity of Kowloon’s Forces, thus allowing the fleet to persist in memory like the rest of the Shouwei.
