Worship of the Minya Hini is most prevalent in Tatya Hini but some Human throughout the sector practice this form of polytheism. Religious practices vary by which named Minya Hini that a person chooses to follow and vary based on the individual but here are some common threads.

The worship has been transplanted, almost wherever the Tatya Hini have gone - and it is considered the state religion of the Solarity of Kowloon, in all but law.

Goddess of the horizon, protector of travelers, the last star. Symbol is the Morning Star.

Auseklis is considered akin to Saule, though while Saule resides within the sun of Jord, Auseklis is said to reside within the horizon, and keeps the secret to the elven Ways which once allowed them to travel between the worlds. A minor goddess for the humans of Jord, who are more interested in their own system's patroness, Auseklis takes on another aspect when worshiped by the elves; she is considered the protector of travelers, the agent of change, and a nurturer for new life. Whereas Saule is considered sometimes as 'the first star', there is a popular saying that refers to Auseklis as the 'last star'.

“Until the light of the last star dies,” is often used to seal oaths, and is a way to refer to the end of time, and everything - the last sunrise, would be the last star's death.

God of the Earth and Forge. Symbol is a mountain.

Hesperus was depicted, not as a man, or an elf, but as a mountain; it is said that he resided within it, and that those who ventured into the depths knew of him only because they found his forge, deep within the fastness. Though there's a few cities, still, that claim to be set above Hesperus's forge, the actual mountain has been lost to time - if it ever existed in the first place.

There is some speculation that the black-skinned, or dark-skinned elves, became distinct because of their blessing through Hesperus and origin near his mountain, though there's no proof to support this mythological claim. Hesperus is also the god of elven artificery, and the most powerful artifacts of the elves are said to be crafted at the highest point of the sun over a forge patterned to his likeness.

Goddess of Winter, Secrets. Symbol is a dark pine.

Seen as a solitary goddess, Kolida is often worshipped by elves interested in quiet introspection. Though the winter goddess is not unfeeling, she is often as silent as the snow she patrons, and many of her follows discover wisdom in silence. She serves as a goddess of secrets, and is considered a mysterious figure in elven lore. The humans of Jord frequently worship her, however, in the sharing of good news near the end of the winter season, and many marriages, new business partnerships, and pregnancies, are announced at the end of winter. By long tradition, the end of Winter is considered a fortuitous time for the sharing of secrets, as Kolida's power wanes upon the world, and is gently replaced by Saule's warmth.

Goddess of Fate. Created the Ember and Aphotic system to balance The Word, along with Saule; symbol is 3 wave tops.

Fate is said to smile; fate is said to frown. In the beginning of the Minya Hini's history, Laima set down the first thread which created the elves, and she is considered to still watch the fate of the Second Children most closely, as though a mischievous aunt, sometimes helping and sometimes taunting. It is said that the Aphotics were created in image of her nightmares, though that is only a folk belief. Some humans regard her as the goddess of Luck, as well, but only a truly desperate elf would call on the name of Laima.

When she walked the world, some believed her to be mad, and many of her priests and priestesses have a touch of madness in them; they are fickle, unstable, and yet when they move, they seem to change the fate of all around them with their power and blessings.

Goddess of Death. Responsible for the implementation of life system controls on Jord; believed to be imprisoned in the heart of Jord; symbol is a counter-clockwise Spiral.

The Spiral of Mara is meant to represent the endless iterations of a person's life, from the moment of their birth to the end of their time within the stars. A person's life is said to begin in the center, and their influence is said to spread outward, slowly, until their final breath. The end of the spiral is frayed, just slightly, and when Mara's symbol is displayed in full - it is displayed endlessly, with each frayed end forming the nexus of another spiral, so that the temples of Mara are often covered, roof to cornerstone, in the endless spirals of so many lives.

Though the goddess is silent and thought to be imprisoned, her somber worshippers still console the grieving families of men and elves that the threads of their loved ones' lives still exist within the tapestry of time and space, through them.

God of the Moon. Symbol is a crescent moon.

Saule's husband, Meneo, carries the balance of the evening against her bright daylight. Whereas Saule is said to be imprisoned in the sun of Jord system, Meneo is thought to reside deep within one of its moons. Still, rather than being a solitary God, Meneo figures prominently in several stories with Auseklis, whom some reason must be a paramour. Other versions of the story cast them as mere intimate friends. Yet another casts Auseklis as his daughter.

There is one story, considered somewhat heretical, that postulates the two of them conspired to imprison Saule in her firey cage.

God of the Storm. Responsible for the atmospheric and terrain development of Jord; symbol is a lightning bolt.

More than any other god, it is Perkins who contributed to the unbalancing of Jord. He is worshipped often by war-magi, and artificers, for his destructive power and capability. He is the elven war-god. In mortal life, he was said to have been a warlord of massively destructive power, enough that he called the wind and storms to his banner as pets, and directed them as he would, bringing untold destruction upon the human settlements and even, it is said, favoring the first elven revolution against the Tianese on Liang - though none sighted him, his symbol often adorned their banners.

The humans of Jord revile him and the elves see him as a virtuous defender of their sky-cities. He is often worshipped by warriors, filling his place as a surrogate war god - for until humans came to them, the tatiya hini did not revere war.

Goddess of the Sun. Created the Embers and Aphotic system to balance The Word; Believed to be imprisoned in the Red Star of the Jord System; symbol is a stylized Sun.

Saule, the first star, is thought to have been the first of the Minya Hini, so that she is the eldest of the tatya hini deities, and considered to be the wisest. Unlike many human religions, or indeed, the religions of many of the native species of the Shattered Universe, the tatya hini draw no distinction between the day and the night cycle philosophically, save in the case of Auseklis's domain of travel; where the sun shines, it shines always, into one place or another.

The giver of life, the patron of mothers and knowledge and wisdom. She of the red fire, whose cloak contains the light of endless stars, warms the faces of her worshipers and calls them to higher deeds of learning and artistry.

God of Justice. Symbol is an upright arrow.

The god of Justice is unknown to the tatya hini, and many consider him to be a new god or an interloper, or even a dangerous myth perpetrated by their oppressors - but the humans of Jord have raised him to a status of over-god, protector, and defender of the weak. Tyr is said to be one-eyed; in his right hand, he wields the long arrow Mērogas, a legendary artifact said to have been gifted him by gods older and wiser than the Minya Hini, which can judge the hearts of men and elves.

Held aloft, it will point to the truest path - and he is often depicted holding it so. He is the chooser, the namer, and the sponsor of the Jordian noble houses, and those whose divine right seems to be rulership are said to have been touched by Mērogas's point.
